The 1953 Bowman Antique Autos set borrows artwork from the earlier Turkey Red automobile set of the 1910's. The colors are rich and beautiful and the larger Bowman 1950's format allows for nice palette for the car cards.
The condition breakdown is as follows: Card fronts are in NM to NMMT condition on this set and very even. The card stock, like that of the 1953 Baseball set is such that it does brown somewhat over time and this set is no exception. There are, in addition, 10 cards that exhibit some level of a stain in the upper left corner near the number on the backside of the card which are not visible on the card fronts. The 3D glasses from the set are in EX condition as is the wrapper from the set. Fantastic grouping. With just a very few upgrades, this could be one of the better sets in the hobby.
