The R144 Wolverine Gum Strange True Stories is a difficult set from the 1930's. The set's subjects are akin to the Ripley's Believe it or Not type of stories and contain some interesting subjects. The most popular card in the set is that of the "Bat-Man" which predates the actual Batman comics by a couple years and is very popular for nonsports and comic collectors alike.
This card is the #9 Drowned by a Giant Clam and has been graded PSA3.5 VG+.
