The F277-2 series of Heinz Airplanes is often called the Art Deco version of the F277-1 series due to the more crude pictures of the same subjects. The fronts and backs of the cards have the card number printed twice—on the bottom of the fronts and, in some cases, the top of the backs. In addition to the visual changes, in many instances, but not all, the planes are facing the opposite direction in the F277-2 series from the orientation of the F277-1 series. The F277-2 series is a tougher series to complete than the F277-1 and it also has the production codes on the back in the lower right corner.

This lot contains a pair of PSA8 NMMT cards from the Heinz Aviation F277-2 set. The #6 Douglass Amphibion card has the numbers on both the front and back and the #20 General Aviation G A-43 Transport card has the numbers on the front only. Beautiful pair of cards.
