The N412 Set is a set of (17) known cards picturing presidents, celebrities and actresses. The cards measure 2-1/2 by 4-1/16 inches and have a glossy sepia type front picturing the subject and the backs of the cards are in black and white printing and advertise the Seal of North Carolina brand or the more difficult Lichtenstein brand. The most popular cards in the set include presidents like Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant and actress Lillian Russell.
This lot is for a very nice pair of Lillian Russell cards--one advertising the Seal of North Carolina brand and the other advertising the Lichtenstein brand. The Lichtenstein versions of these cards are trimmed about 1/8" to 1/4" shorter than the Seal of North Carolina Brand. The Seal of North Carolina card has some light spotty paper loss on the back and the Lichtenstein brand card is in very nice shape. Just a great lot for the type card collector or collector of Lillian Russell cards.
