The N171 Goodwin Old Judges Celebrities & Miscellaneous lot includes a number of actress cards as well as cards for other celebrities. The cards are albumen photo cards adhered to heavy cardboard--similar to the N172 Old Judge baseball series that is immensely popular. The cards can be found with varying degrees of photo clarity and in varying conditions. The backs are blank and the fronts contain varying types of advertising for Old Judge--mostly at the bottom of the card.
This lot is for a single N171 card of Miss Helen Howard that has been graded as PSA9 or Mint. A total of (79) cards from this series have been graded by PSA with only (3) achieveing the grade of Mint 9. Just a beautiful example of the card and a super high grade card for a typecard collector or collector of high grade 19th century cards.
