The T119-1 Piedmont World Scenes series is a large series of nearly 350 cards with 150 cards being U.S. Scenes and the other 200 cards being foreign scenes. The cards are uninspiring black and white cards with glossy fronts that picture a scene with a title on the bottom of the mostly horizontally-formatted cards. The backs of the card advertise for Piedmont Cigarettes. The second series T119-2's have just a bit more color on them and picture both scenes and actresses or pretty ladies.
This lot is for a single, high-grade type card from the T119-1 series. The subject is Vienna, Austria - The Castle Gate which has been graded PSA8 NMMT. Only 30 cards from this voluminous series have been graded by PSA and only two have reached the lofty height of PSA8 with none achieving anything higher.
