The R195 Shelby Gum set was issued by the Ohio gum company in the 1930's and is likely one of the more boring sets in the timeframe. The blank backed cards have a quiz question on the front with no graphics. The cards are particularly difficult to find and are often missing from even advanced typecard collections.
This R195 Shelby Gum Quiz card subject is Walter Johnson--one of the most famous Baseball pitchers ever and one of the first five players inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The card is numbered #14 and is in EX condition.
