Newsboy issued a number of cabinets other than actresses and the cabinet in this lot pictures William McKinley, the 25th president of the United States. The non-actress cabinets were given the ACC classification of N567. William McKinley served a single term from 1897-1901. Prior to becoming president, McKinley served as Governor of Ohio and it is likely that is why he is pictured in the Newsboy set as it is generally accepted that the Newsboy set was issued in 1895. McKinley was a rising politician in 1895 and suspected of running for president.
This cabinet is numbered 73 and is in generally VGEX to EX condition.
