Inaugural January 2019 Auction

Weber Bread was the undisputed heavyweight of bread card advertising in the 1920's/1930's time period. They issued a number of sets over this period in a number of different formats. This set is one of the more obscure sets and was not cataloged in the American Card Catalog. The set pictures different "Ways of Travel" with a black and white photo on the card front outlined by red, yellow or blue borders. The backs, as with all Weber Bread cards, advertise for their Pullman and Onist Breads.
The condition breakdown on the set is as follows: VG to VGEX (10 cards) and G to GVG (8 cards). The majority of the bread cards were printed on very thin paper and suffer from being inserted into the product. This set has mostly small creases, wear to the corners and the occasional nick or notch on the card. These issues are very common with Weber bread cards.
