The Breisch-Williams Company of Oxford, PA issued a number of sets after the turn of the 20th century. Their most famous set is the E103 Baseball series. This series of (25) Army cards pictures soldiers from 9 different countries in their battle gear. The cards were inserted one each into the Army caramel brand from Breisch-Williams. The images used in this series were used for other manufacturers of the time including the American Tobacco Company among others. All cards picture the subject in a full color bust pose. Thirteen of the (25) cards also have a picture of a cap in the lower left corner. They appear on all the same cards and it is not known why they don't appear on all the cards.
The condition of this set of (25) cards is as follows: VG (7 cards), Good (14 cards) and P/F (4 cards). Although the technical grades for this set are lower, it displays well and the cards are rarely found in high grade.
