Kinney Tobacco issued three different horse sets in a small format in the late 1880's to early 1890's. The N229 set were American horses, the N230 were English horses and the N231 set represented Great Trotting horses. The N230 cards as contained in this lot pictured English horses known for winning the bigger races in Europe--especially the English Derby.
This lot includes a pair of N230 cards that have been graded by PSA. The subjects include: Kingcraft PSA6.5 EXMT+ and Ormonde PSA5 EX. Great, clean pair of cards from this popular set.
