Fantastic 1880's Allen & Ginter cabinet card advertising Virginia Brights Cigarettes with the tagline on the front "crop of 1884". This card pictures one of the cigarette making girls from the Allen & Ginter company. The same subject matter was used by Allen & Ginter on a small format set classified N46. This same exact pose can be found on card #40 in that set which can be seen in the Vintagenonsports gallery under Allen & Ginter set N46. This cabinet is in great condition with good photo clarity on the front, nearly all the red coloring on the beveled section of the cabinet with a very clean back. The cabinet is slightly oversized to the normal cabinet card size at 5.0" by 7.5". There appears to be the slightest water stain in the upper right corner that measures about 3/8" by about 1/2" but doesn't affect the cabinet nor the photo in any negative way. There is also a small stain in the lower left border that is small and could be foxing or some type of tobacco stain.
