The R89 Gum Inc Mickey Mouse set is a 96 card set of one of the most popular comic characters of all time. Mickey Mouse's popularity exploded in the early 1930's and Gum, Inc of Philadelphia, PA sought to capitalize on that with their set. The set was issued in two different series of 48 cards with each having a companion album. More often than not, the cards found themselves glued into the albums so finding high grade cards is difficult.
This lot of (3) R89 Gum Inc Mickey Mouse cards have all been graded by PSA and includes the following subjects:#59 You're the under-dog, Pluto (PSA4 VGEX), #75 Ah! Something's Stirring (PSA3 VG) and #85 I saw that wood yesterday (PSA5 EX). Great lot of these popular cards with beautiful color and visually better than the technical grades.
