The 1958 Topps Baseball card set is a classic and highly collectible set of vintage baseball cards issued by Topps Chewing Gum, Inc. The set consists of 494 cards, featuring players, managers, and teams from the 1957 Major League Baseball season. 1958 was the second year of the new format 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" cards and, while it wasn't heavy with good rookies, is a very collectible year. The most notable rookies in the set include Roger Maris and Orlando Cepeda.
