The "Miniature photos" offer on the backs of these are generally made for people to send cabinet photos in so the sender could get (12) of these small photos for 25 cents. Generally, the photos are of family members and others. This is the first time we have encountered these small cards picturing presidents. In the albumen photo field, the presidents name and term is at the bottom of the photo. Each of these photos have had the president's name written in light pencil on the back. The latest president in the group being sold is Benjamin Harrison. The subjects in this auction represent the same group of (18) that were sold in our February 2022 auction for $2005.15. All cards are sold in individual lots.
This single miniature photo president card is of the subject Chester Arthur. The card is in VGEX condition. The name is written in pencil on the back of the card very lightly. This is the only one of these we have seen and it may be the only extant.
