The N18 Allen & Ginter Parasol Drill set pictures ladies of means holding parasols in some fashion with a descriptive note as to how they're being held. The set is one of the less popular sets among the (44) chromolithographed sets that Allen & Ginter produced during the late 1880's into the early 1890's. The backs of the cards contain a checklist of the 50 cards in the set.
This lot includes (10) cards from the N18 Allen & Ginter Parasol Drill set. At first glance, all the cards look to be in approximate VGEX condition but upon further inspection, 5 of the cards have a small pinhole at the top center. They are, however very presentable and would make good spot fillers until better copies come along. The other (5) cards are, in fact, in VGEX condition.
