Buchner Gold Coin tobacco issued a number of sets involving policemen and the N288 series pictures police inspectors in a slightly larger format than the more prolific N284 series. The series numbers 95 subjects with some of them duplicated from the smaller format N284 series.
This single N288 Buchner Police and Fire Chiefs of the subject John McCullagh has been graded as SGC1 or Poor. The card displays nicely, however for the condition and has some chipping around the borders and some light wear on the back.
