Gum Inc issued the Home Defense set in 1941 in the United States and its Canadian counterpart (Defence with a "C") was issued in the same year. Both sets total 48 cards with the U.S. set numbering 97-144 while the Canadian set are numbered 1-48. The cards picture the war effort at home and ensuring the homeland is ready.
This lot contains (4) PSA-Graded cards including: #19 Gas "Decontamination" EX5, #33 Bomb Squad EX5, #35 First Aid Stations EX5 and #37 Heavy Rescue Party EX+5.5.
Nice, clean mid-grade lot from this 1940's set.
