The T175 Sweet Caporal Cigarettes Heroes of the Spanish-American War set is a (50) card set of cards featuring people involved with the Spanish-American War. The War kicked off with the sinking of the U.S.S. Maine in Havana Harbor in 1898. The war lasted from April 21 through August 13th. The set was issued on the inner slides of the tobacco packs and each inner slide had two different cards. The cards were cut from the packaging and are often found in lower condition. The grading companies will grade them but are notoriously difficult on grading.
This single T175 Sweet Caporal Heroes of the Spanish War set is of the subject Theodore Roosevelt that is SGC-Graded as "authentic". The Authentic grade is given on this set due to trimming. This copy is generally clean with a clean back and some light waviness in the trim job.
