In 1978 Donruss issued a pair of (66) card sets featuring the wildly popular band. Peter Criss left the band and was replaced by Eric Carr. After this happened, Donruss re-issued the first set with (21) cards featuring new photos. The cards were only issued in the United States in "Fun Packs" featuring 2-3 cards in each pack. The fun packs were typically issued at the end of the year as an attempt to get rid of excess left-over Topps product. The updated set is more popular and about as difficult to find.
This complete set of (66) 1978 Donruss Kiss cards are in VG to NM condition, averaging around VGEX. These are the normal wax pack version cards, not the fun packs.
