The 1957 Topps "Goofy Postcards" set is a (60) card set picturing crazy artwork with postcard backs. The cards aree standard sized 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" colorful 1950's kitchy artwork cards. Great little Topps set.
This 60-card series features “straight lines”
on the front, and a less-than-devastating “punch lines” on the back. Honestly, this kind of gentle
humor is all but extinct! Cards are configured as postcards, and can actually be mailed if a stamp
is affixed. A sweet remembrance the bygone days of the 1950s. Beautiful centering and sharp
edges and corners. You will likely not see a set of comparable quality come on the market for a
long time! All cards stored in Cardsaver 1 holders and mounted in plastic pages in a looseleaf
binder, for convenient viewing. Fun!
