In 1947 Kellogg's began inserting these small black and white photos in their boxes of Pep cereal. Each portrays either a Movie, Radio, or Sports personality. The 42 cards could be inserted into a redemption album with black pages and slots for (8) cards per page. The cards are printed on photo-type paper stock with black and white backs. The biggest sports star and likely most valuable card in the set is George Mikan from basketball.
This lot is for the companion Album to the F273-19 Kellogg's Pep card set. The album is in VG condition. The back cover has some pencil writing in the upper border.
