The N510 Globe Tobacco Company Celebrities and Royalty set is currently checklisted at (9) cards. There are likely more cards in the set. The cards feature British royalty including Queen Victoria and others in small format cards measuring 1-1/2" wide by 2-1/2" tall with a gold border and small picture of the star with the name below the picture and the Globe Tobacco advertising banner. The cards note that Globe Tobacco is Windsor Ontario (Canada) and Detroit USA on the front. The cards are blank-backed and it's entirely possible that they could have been printed and only issued on the Canadian side of the city.
This very tough N510 Globe Tobacco Co. Celebrities/Royalty card features the subject of the Duke of Albany in VGEX condition. This is the first card from this very tough series we have had the opportunity to auction to date. This card is missing from many advanced type card checklists.
