Everyone knows Jefferson Burdick is the father of card collecting. Nearly everyone knows he is the author of the American Card Catalog (ACC). Less well known, however, is that Burdick created a book called "Pioneer Post Cards" which outlined the very early hobby of Post Card collecting and the early period of Post Cards in the U.S. through 1898. The book is printed on slick stock with a light blue cover and is illustrated throughout with early Post Card images.
This copy of Pioneer Postcards is in Good condition with some separation from the spine inside. The lot also includes an update to the text that was issued subsequent to the publication. The update is in EX to EXMT condition and clean.
