The R159-4 Universal Products Comics and Jokes set is one of (4) different (16) card sets issued by Universal Products in sheets of at least (8) cards. The cards were trimmed apart and can be found in sheet form as well. The cards are crude artwork and it's believed, like the strip cards of the 1930's, were given as point of purchase when candy was bought at "Dime" stores around the country. The cards picture scenes from the Wild West like "Pony Express Rider", "The Sherriff" and more.
This near set of (15/16) cards from the R159-4 Universal Products Cards The Western Trail cards are in Poor to VG condition.
