The R190 America's Defender series was issued by Milkes chocolates as a six box set in 1941. The set includes B17 Pilot Colin Kelly, General Douglas MacArthur, Army Truck, Bomber, Machine Gunner and Pursuit Ship. The boxes are rare and even rarer to find in complete form. While the (6) noted above are in all the original checklists, there is another complete set of (6) boxes as well. The titles of that second set of (6) boxes include (3) service members (Sailor, Marine and Officer) and (3) weapons of war (Tank, Machine Gunner and Pursuit Ship). The two sets can be distinguished by the ends of the boxes. The original set has a red,white and blue border around the two end flaps of the boxes while the second, unchecklisted set has plain yellow end flaps.
This single R190 Milke's America's Defenders is of the subject "Sail" Candy Box in about Good to VG. The box has some tears and creasing and from the second group of (6) boxes that are unchecklisted. There is a piece of tape on one end of the bottom of the box flap.
