The 1973 Topps Kung Fu Test issue is a (44) card series that were issued prior to the more mainstream set. The difference can be noted with a blue bordered back on the test series. The set sought to capitalize on the popularity of the television show of the same name. The show is an American action-adventure martial arts Western drama television series starring David Carradine. The series follows the adventures of Kwai Chang Caine, a Shaolin monk who travels through the American Old West. The show had 62 episodes from 1972 through 1975 that aired on ABC.
This lot of (6) 1973 Topps Kung Fu cards are all PSA-Graded and include: #8 (PSA8 NM-MT), #21 (PSA8 NM-MT), #55 (PSA7 NM), #56 (PSA7 NM), #15 (PSA5 EX) and #41 (PSA5 EX). Great lot of these popular.
