The W543 Betteman Archives Civil War set is a (55) card set picturing scenes from the U.S. Civil War. The set was issued in 1965 and is classified as W543. The card fronts have a sepia picture with a red banner at the bottom of the title of the scene on the front. The back of the card has the number in the upper left along with a short narrative about the scene on the front of the card. The cards are standard sized in landscape orientation that measure 3-1/2" by 2-1/2". The cards are rarely found centered.
This partial set of (39/55) cards from the W543 Betteman Archives Civil War set are largely in EX to EXMT condition with some better. This group has much better centering than is often seen. Great lot of (39) cards from this rarely seen set.
