The N284 Buchner Gold Coin set covers a number of subjects with hundreds of individual cards. The most prominent subset in the set is the cards picturing baseball players. Those total (143) cards and contain such baseball luminaries as Mike Kelly, Cap Anson, Hoss Radbourn and more Hall of Famers. The next largest subset contains (103) police inspectors--most of which patrolled the streets of New York. Also included are (31) jockeys and (48) actors and acrtresses.
This single N284 Buchner Gold Coin is of the subject Deasley of New York. The card is crudely cut from a blank-backed sheet and is in Poor condition. The card image on the front is clean, however, although the corners and borders are pretty severely rough.
