Felix Potin of France issued a couple different (500) card set picturing writers, musicians, artists, statesmen, soldiers and other famous historical figures from all across the world with an emphasis on Frenchmen within those categories. The cards were blank backed and had 'Collection Felix Potin' at the top with the subject's name at the bottom. Subjects like Jules Verne, Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo, Emile Zola, Stanley and Livingstone, Pope Leon XIII, Thomas Edison and many more were in the series.
This Felix Potin 500 Celebrities album includes 75-100 cards from the series adhered to the album pages. The album is in Fair condition and interior cards are in EX condition although glued into the album.
