The Donat Gum company of France issued a number of sets in the 1930's that were issued with their Gum products. Many of these sets have the 'look' of 1930's U.S. card sets. The 1930's Donat Gum (France) Marine de Guerre set picture scenes of naval warfare on the water in the 1920's/1930's. The card fronts are printed in a brownish ink with numbering on front and back with a short narrative on the back that outlines the scene on the front.
This lot of (39) 1930's Donat Gum (France) Marine de Guerre cards are in Poor to VGEX condition, averaging VG. There are a few cards in the lot with back damage or paper adhered to the back.
