The N489 Blue Bordered Actresses set is a set of stock photos that were used to advertise a number of different tobacco companies as well as other products. Tobacco companies using the stock to advertise include brands such as Mexican Puffs, Old Havana Puffs, Real Havana Flips, Sweet Bouquet and others from companies like Cameron & Sizer, American Cigar Company and, most commonly, American Eagle Tobacco Company. The fronts of the cards identify the subject on the card. They can also be commonly found blank backed without advertising for any specific company. The cards measure 1-1/2" wide by 2-1/2" high.
This pair of N489C American Eagle Double 5 Actresses are of the same subject on the front of the card but with two different backs. One card has a group of pinholes while th3e other is in VGEX to EX condition and mostly clean.
