The American Card Catalog is the monumental work by Jefferson Burdick where the nomenclature for cards and the classification of paper ephemera got it's humble beginnings. It started out in 1939 and was revised in the 1940's and 1950's and finally in 1960 by Burdick. Burdick collected any and every type of paper ephemera and organized them into types and created a type of Dewey decimal system for organizing cards and other types of associated ephemera.
This copy of the ACC is the 1956 update to the ACC and is in VGEX to EX with a light water stain on the right side of the front cover and writing at the top.
