The R142 Goudey Soldier Boys cards were issued in 1933 like many of the other Goudey Issues. As one of the smaller Goudey sets, it is a relatively easy set to complete. The set pictures soldiers in uniform from 24 different countries including Japan, Russia, the US and others. The U.S. cards in the set include an Admiral and the U.S. Marines. The set is colorful and the wrapper is a beautiful representation of a popular subject in the 1930's--War.
This complete set of (24) cards from the R142 Goudey Gum Soldier Boy set are in VGEX to NRMT with most being around EX to EX+. Great turnkey set of this popular group.
