R96 Interesting 5" X 7" Superman Premium of Kirk Allyn as Superman

R96-3 is another variant to the lot of R96 cards from the previous lot. The R96-3 series are thin sheets of stock with (6) cowboy pictures printed on them. The sheets measure 7-3/4" wide by 6" high and are condition sensitive due to the card stock. Little is known about the distribution of the sheets or if they were inserted into a product or, more likely a point-of-sale premium for product purchase. The sheets are duotoned and apparently fall into a number of different color tones including: black & red, blue & red and green & red.

The piece is in VGEX condition with just a nick in the center of the left border. Beautiful piece picturing Kirk Alyn as Superman.
