The 1966 Topps Rat Patrol set was one of the many 1966 sets and one of the many sets based on a television show that Topps issued. The set of (66) cards features color shots on the front from the show and the back has a puzzle piece with the card number on the back. The show is an American action and adventure television series that aired on ABC between 1966 and 1968. The show follows the exploits of four Allied soldiers — three Americans and one British — who are part of a long-range desert patrol group in the North African campaign during World War II. The show has an O-Pee-Chee companion set as well.
This pair of 1966 Topps Rat Patrol cards have been graded by PSA and include the following subjects: #1 They were the Rat Patrol (PSA7 NM) and #64 Sgt. Troy Rushed Back to Base (PSA8 NM-MT). Great pair of graded cards from this interesting show.
