The V417 Maple Leaf Gum The Sax Set is a (50) card set printed in Holland for the Canbadian market. The set is primarily musicians and singers of the 1950's as the set was issued in 1959. The set is named the Sax set as the backs have a saxophone on them along with a short narrative about the star pictured on the obverse. Like most of the cards printed in Holland, the cards have a plain white border, color photo and have the star's name and card number on the front.
This single V417 Maple Leaf Gum The Sax Set is of the subject #15 Pearl Bailey that is graded PSA7 NM. The card is POP1 with only two higher.
