The N19 Allen & Ginter Pirates of the Spanish Main set is one of the more popular Allen & Ginter small-sized lithographed sets. The (50) Card set pictured pirates known for their escapades on the high seas. The cards are one of the tougher series within the (34) A&G Small sized sets and a very difficult set to complete. The cards feature well-known, real-life pirates like Captain Kidd, Edward Teach (Blackbeard) as well as female pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read. The colorful fronts include a main head shot of the pirate along with an action picture in silhouette set behind the pirate. The backs of the cards contain detailed information about the pirate on the front.
This lot includes (5) N19 Allen & Ginter Pirates of the Spanish Main, all of which have been graded PSA5 or EX including the following subjects: #1 Pierre Francois, #2 Samuel Bellamy, #3 William Fly, #6 John Gow and #7 Sir Henry Morgan. Great lot of these mid-grade cards for the set builder.
