American Caramel issued the R14 set in the 1930's. The set is a (30) card historical set with 3 cards each for (10) different historical figures including Daniel Boone, George Washington, Sitting Bull and others. The cards are very popular with 1930's "R" series collectors.
This single R14 American Caramel American Historical Characters card features Captain Kidd #2. The card appears at first glance to be about VGEX but does have some glue on the back and a couple dots of paper loss. The front displays beautifully however and the card is a tough card from a hard set to complete.
