Bob Lemke was the editor of the Krause Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards and a long-time hobbyist and contributor to all things cards. Although he spent most of his working career dealing with baseball cards, Bob also had a love for nonsports cards. At some point, Bob decided that there were many sets--both baseball and nonsports--that needed some updates. They were missing some cards that should have been in those sets. So Bob set out to create these additional cards. Bob created probably somewhere in the range of 200 different individual cards from both Baseball and Nonsports sets. The craftsmanship on these cards is, in some cases, as good as the originals. Bob sold the cards for $10 each shipped. Maybe a small discount for multiple purchases. He produced them on a VERY small scale--most cards having 10 copies or less. So they are a very scarce commodity overall.

This single 1952 Topps Baseball Format card of #418 pictures Bob Hope and Bing Crosby and is in EX condition.
