A&R of New Zealand issued a Superman the Movie card set employing the images from the Topps set of the same name. Superman, the Movie was released in 1978 using Christopher Reeve to update the role of Superman. The movie had wide appeal and Reeve began a run of (3) Superman movies.
This lot of (2) A&R (New Zealand) Superman the Movie wrappers are in EX to EXMT condition and very clean. It is popular, but difficult, to pick up wrappers from the New Zealand and Australian counterparts to the Topps movie sets.
