The N39 Allen & Ginter Fish From American Waters set is the (50) card set that is the counterpart to the smaller N8 Allen & Ginter set of the same name. Like all the large format Allen & Ginter sets, the set was issued with Richmond Straight Cut cigarettes and features the artwork from the smaller counterpart sets against a backdrop of ornate lithographed scenes. The N39 set features fish that were commonly found in American waterways during the end of the 19th century and were a popular subject as the artwork from the original N8 Fish set was used on many other sets from other tobacco companies both in the United States and abroad, even as late as the early 20th century.

This lot of (3) N39 Allen & Ginter Fish From American Waters have all been graded PSA2 or Good and include the following subjects: Whitefish, Porgy and Crab. With all grading tiers, all PSA2 cards are not the same. These three cards have little visual differences from cards graded PSA3 or even PSA4 and would make very presentable additions to an N39 Allen & Ginter set.
