The N51 Allen & Ginter Presidents set is one of the tougher real albumen photo sets from Allen & Ginter. The set includes the first 22 presidents of the United States through Grover Cleveland and was likely issued sometime in the 1885 through 1889 time frame. The cards are relatively rare. The backs of the cards contain a checklist of the cards in the set.
This single N51 Allen & Ginter Presidents card is of the subject Rutherford Hayes that has been graded PSA3 or VG. The card is extremely clean front and back with only the centering of the text on the back being off-center to the right and low as the big issue. The card front is a little lighter than some of the other cards from the set but still very presentable for an early 19th century albumen tobacco card.
