The N37 Allen & Ginter Birds of America set is the large format companion to the N4 smaller set of the same name from Allen & Ginter. The set was issued in larger packages of A&G products such as Richmond Straight Cuts, and, as such, is much tougher to find than the smaller counterparts. The set is arguably one of the most striking and ornate of the large format sets with deep, rich colors and expert chromolithography. The cards feature the artwork of the smaller format card inset against a beautiful background that is one of (25) different backgrounds--each of which are used on two different N37 cards. As the cards are oversized, they are also more condition-sensitive and constructing a clean set of (50) cards of any of the oversized Allen & Ginter sets should be considered a great achievement.
This lot of (6) N37 Allen & Ginter Birds of America cards are largely in VG to VGEX condition and mostly clean. The Cuckoo subject does have some staining on the back of the card. Great lot for the set builder.
