The artwork for the T58 Piedmont fish series has been used for a number of series--most notably on the N8 Allen & Ginter Fish from American Waters series in the 1880's. It has also been used on confectionery cards and in tobacco cards from American Tobacco Company. The T58 series can be found with Piedmont, Sweet Caporal and Sovereign backs. The set was issued in two 50 card series and the first 50 cards had backs with a top caption of "Fish Series - 1 to 50" while the second 50 cards had "Fish Series - 1 to 100" at the top.

This Lot of over (300) T58 Fish cards runs the gamut on condition from Good to NRMT with most cards being VGEX/EX. The set is very complete missing the most cards in the Sovereign-backed group (29). Great group of cards for the variation and master set collector.
