The Duke N152 Photos from Life series pictures approximately 400 of the actresses of the day with an albumen photo affixed to a thick mount. The back of the mount advertises for Duke's product 'Preferred Stock' Cigarettes. The backs advertise that there are 240 varieties in the series but many more have been cataloged. Some actresses have more than one pose. The cards are square but must be tilted to view the actresses head on a horizontal format.
This lot of (4) N152 Duke "Photographs (From Life)" Actresses include a pair of Mary Anderson cards, Aneta and Pauline Hall. The cards are mostly clean around VG to VGEX with one of the Anderson cards having a pinhole.
