The BF101 Felt blankets feature Aviators and airplanes. It's likely that the set was issued sometime around the late 1910's to 1920's. Non-sport.com checklists (24) different blankets and the different designs can be found in a number of different color felts--offering the variation collector a fertile ground to collect this set. The felts measure 3" wide by 6" high and have blank backs. The fronts have some type of paint applied which dries into the design on the front of the blankets.
This lot of (8) BF101 Airplanes and Dirigibles Blankets are in VGEX to EX condition and include the following subjects: Reid Curtis Flying Boat (USA), Baldwin Dirigible (USA), Wright Hydro-Aeroplane (USA), Ferber Biplane, French Military Dirigible, Blerior Monoplane (France), Ponnier Monoplane (France) and Antoinette Monoplane (France). Great lot of different blankets. A couple have very small holes punched in them which is common for the issue.
