The T57 Turkish Trophies Fable Series is a (100) card set picturing illustrated scenes from famous fables such as "The Turtle and the Hare" and "The Goose That Laid the Golden Eggs". The complete set is actually comprised by a pair of (50) card sets numbered 1 to 50 and 51 to 100. It is believed that the two sets were issued roughly between 1910 and 1912. The fronts of the cards picture the illustration with a deep golden border often found with condition issues. The backs are printed in black with an ad for Turkish Trophies and a brief capsule about the scene on the front of the card.

This set of (100) Is largely in VG to EX condition, averaging about VGEX with a few better and a few worse. Great compilation of these popular fable cards that would fit in with any 20th century tobacco collection.
