Circa 1910, Each 5"x8” full color card in the H767 Piedmont Cigarettes Rip Van Winkle set is numbered at the lower left front edge. Each card features on extremely colorful and detailed lithographic scene relating to the myth of Rip Van Winkle with a package of Piedmont Smoking Tobacco superimposed in the foreground of the illustration. The back of each card features a brief synopsis of the legendary story.

This lot of (4) cards is largely in VG to VGEX condition with clean fronts and backs except the Chapter VII card which has a couple of light spotting stains on the back of the card.
