The T48 Turkey Red Cigarettes Butterfly Series is a set of (50) cards that picture beautiful butterflies with gold borders and red-printed backs. As with most of the Turkey Red card series, this set can be found with stamps on the back for who was the 'packer' of the tobacco pack. This was some type of quality control system the tobacco manufacturer had.
This set is largely in VG to EX condition with just a couple worse and a few better. Very nice overall set of these beautiful butterflies. Most of the cards have the "packer" number stamped on the back as issued.
